Wilbur (Bill) Sinclair Chamberlin (94) passed away peacefully at home in Madison Heights, Michigan on November 30, 2016. Born on November 28, 1922 to Percy and Isabel (Barkley) Chamberlin in Detroit, Michigan.
Growing up in Detroit, Bill attended Eastern High School. After graduating in 1940, Bill joined the CCC's in Munising, Michigan. After his brother Jack was captured in the Philippines, the three remaining brothers all enlisted and became pilots. Bill was a Naval Air pilot form 1942 - 1945.

Bill attended Wayne State University, and started his long career in commercial Real Estate with G.S.A, National T, H.G. Woodruff and Detroit Mortgage & Reality, before becoming an independent Broker.
Married to Lorraine (Knechtel) in 1950 and happily married for forty years, they enjoyed canoeing, potluck, bowling and dancing. Bill was a good golfer and a great singer!.
Bill is survived by his children, Wil Chamberlin, Karl Chamberlin and Cindy (Pete) Chronowski. He has six grandchildren. Kyle, Caitlin and Crew Chamberlin and David, Jack and Roman Chronowski. He also has two great grandchildren, Max and Theo Chamberlin and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine and siblings Jack, Ruth King and Don.
A memorial service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery, 621 West Long Lake Road in Troy, Michigan on Saturday December 10, 2016 at noon.
